Description

Dear England is a BBC production adapted from James Graham's acclaimed National Theatre play, broadcast to coincide with the 2026 World Cup.
As Graphics Art Director, I designed the complete visual language for all motion graphics across the four-part series — from initial concept and style development through to final delivery of all 264 shots. Taking the visual world established by the art department in production, I extended and completed that world through the post production pipeline, ensuring the screen-based graphics lived seamlessly within the same visual language as the physical sets and world around them.
I also designed and animated the main title sequence, which went on to become the official title graphic for the series — used across broadcast, marketing and promotional materials.
Many of the shots you'll see in the seires are entirely mine, full frame graphics.
